    Back again and again, a taste of home 9,600 km away. As a local guide, I recommend this gem to those seeking authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Also ordered night market black pepper sauce steak teppan with spaghetti and lamb hot pot combo. My wife loves both dishes.

    Update - visited at 10pm just before the Easter weekend .. Sadly the service was terrible (we and our neighboring tables) were ignored quite a bit even though we pressed the button for service and stopped wait staff walking by. We all ordered late night combos which included a drink which sadly didn't arrive until we finished the meal (after badgering many wait staff they informed us that the drink station was short staffed - gee it would have nice to inform us upon ordering). Food was great as usual. MAY 2025 - Great late night visit. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was tasty with reasonable prices. Will definitely return!

    I am absolutely delighted with this place, which I found by accident. The food was incredibly delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. My friends and I each ordered a different dish, giving us the chance to try a variety of options. I will definitely come back here again. What amazed me the most were the following dishes: Deep fried tofu with marinated sour. Taiwanese nuggets. Fried rice. Golden Salted Bun. The service was excellent—we ordered many dishes and received them very quickly. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the place.

    Such a nice place with a good waiting area lobby and so much on their menu. I accidentally called the shaved ice bingsu and the person working there thought I said red bean soup and seeing the images on the menu was really helpful but then we found the shaved ice page and I'm surprised there's not more reviews about the chocolate one, it was really good and different. The chocolate pieces were a bit too hardened in there though

    I came to MYST with the intent of comparing the food to another Taiwanese restaurant that serves similar dishes called “The One”. Talking about MYST specifically I really liked that they had large screens so that you can watch sports games. Service was quick and attentive, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was pretty good in terms of the food. I had the deep fried squid which was quite flavourful and the deep fried chicken nuggets, which was also coated in a similar seasoning. I was mostly interested in the beef noodle soup as that is what I was comparing to the one. To be completely honest, they’re both good in their own ways however the soup broth at MYST felt a little more bland. Still flavourful and tasty however, just not as much flavour as the broth from the one I was also not asked if I wanted my soup to be spicy or not. I’m not sure if this means that they don’t offer spicy broth or if you just have to ask for it. I also had a bubble tea, which was tasty although very sweet overall I enjoyed my visit at MYST.

    Absolutely loved the brunch here! The portions were generous, the ingredients fresh, and the flavors perfectly balanced. It’s rare to find a place where you get such great quality at such reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Myst is definitely worth a stop. Highly recommended!

    It was our little daughter’s Birthday and we cane here for her Bday dinner and got in the waitlist. The hostess was very courteous and gave us the option to take the table right at the gate if we didn’t want to wait for a table on the inner side. We readily took that table as the restaurant was jam packed and waiting longer would’ve delayed our order as well. The hostess who took the order was also very friendly and gave good recommendations on food and spice levels. We didn’t have to wait for the food very long, and food was well cooked and presented well. We only wished we had asked for high spice level as their medium spice was our low level spice. We saw the restaurant employees singing birthday song for another table, and we requested a song for our daughter too. We were delighted that not only hostesses accepted our request but also offered the free Bday Chocolate Lava Cake, which we didn’t know about and were not even expecting. It was a nice surprise and we loved their Birthday song, placard and the attention our daughter received. This visit to MYST was memorable and full of fun and yummy treat. This was our first visit and we felt welcomed and valued. We would come here again and recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our little daughter who turned 8 said, “if restaurants treat customers like this, of course we would go there again.” Even a little kid knows this fact that many other restaurants don’t care about. This dinner visit made our day. Thank you.
